"Pure" Casters and "Healers"
*mana = (((INT/5) + 2) * Level + itembonus) [pure casters] Note: These formulae only hold true up to an corresponding ability score of 200, after which point there is an effect of diminishing returns. Since *this* wizard is currently only level 30, he hasn't yet noticed such an effect. :)
*mana = (((INT/5) + 2) * (Level-8) + itembonus) [SHD] *mana = (((WIS/5) + 2) * (Level-8) + itembonus) [PAL/RNG] Keep in mind that you must be at least LEVEL 9 to have any mana whatsoever. The formulae for hybrids is identical to the one for the pure casters, with an adjustment for level, as follows:
